Dr. Martha Gore
Dr. Gore is an Optometrist in Forrest City providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Gore provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Gore is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Gore is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Gore works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Gore's dedication to continuing education that our Forrest City patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
Dr. Jennifer Anderson
Dr. Anderson is an army brat that graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors and Masters degree in biology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry where she was an active member in the National Optometric Student Association, Private Practice Club, and Georgia State Club, among others. She was active in many community service events and also served as a lab teaching assistant to underclassmen.
After graduating, she completed a one year residency in primary care in Crownpoint, New Mexico where she lived on a Native American reservation and served the Navajo Nation community. While working at the local hospital, she served as attending doctor to several optometry students, wrote monthly eye health articles for the hospital newsletter, and gave continuing education to many other local optometrists.
In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her husband Lance, their son Liam, and poodle Max. She also enjoys playing dominos, going to local trivia nights, watching scary movies, and going to comic-cons.
